Here is the fourth SPOTLIGHT ALBUM of 2019!
Batman , released in June of 1989, was Prince's 11th full-length studio album. The album was released in conjunction with the Tim Burton movie Batman. This is the first and only soundtrack album by Prince for a movie for which he was not involved in as an actor. Batman featured singles: "Batdance", "Partyman", "The Future" and "Scandalous!."
The album reached number 1 on the Billboard Top Pop Albums Chart and number 5 on the Billboard Top Black Albums Chart.
Fun Fact!
Batman was certified Platinum x2 on the 29th of August 1989 by the RIAA, indicating 2 million copies shipped in the USA.
