The first Spotlight Album of 2018 is Purple Rain, but more explicitly Purple Rain (Deluxe Expanded Edition) r. 2017. The album features the infamous and iconic soundtrack from the 1984 film 'Purple Rain' which began the infamous collaboration of Prince and the big screen for years to come.
With the Original 'Purple Rain' album as it's base, the 2017 re-release also featured previously unreleased tracks and single edits of the album. These tracks included songs like "Electric Intercourse", "The Dance Electric", and "Our Destiny / Roadhouse Garden."
